1. Who processes your data.
SCAI FOR GOOD SRL, registered in Romania, Cluj-Napoca, Strada Salcâmului nr. 37A,Scara 1, Ap. 45, Județul Cluj, CUI 50522035, J12/3003/2024, is the data controller for personal data collected through the nicelium™ website(nicelium.com).
This Policy applies to data collected via the Site. It does not apply to operational waste sorting data generated by the physical nicelium™ system, which is governed by a separate Data Processing Agreement.
2. What data is collected.
Through the Site, nicelium™ collects only what is necessary to respond to inquiries and manage pilot interest.
Via contact and reservation forms: first name, last name, organization name, professional email address, and the nature of your inquiry (meeting request or pilot program interest).
Via the Site itself: standard technical data including IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and session duration. This data is collected through analytics tools and is not linked to your identity unless you have submitted a form.
nicelium™ does not collect consumer-profile data. It does not operate advertising trackers. It does not sell data.
3. Legal basis for processing.
Form submissions are processed on the basis of legitimate interest — specifically, the management of business inquiries and pre-contractual relations.
Analytics data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest in understanding Site performance. Where required by applicable law, consent is obtained prior to the placement of non-essential cookies.
4. How data is used.
Your contact information is used to respond to your inquiry, assess pilot eligibility, and maintain a record of business correspondence. It is not used for automated decision-making. It is not used to build behavioral profiles.
Analytics data is used in aggregate to improve Site performance and content relevance.
5. Data sharing.
nicelium™does not sell, rent, or trade personal data.
Datamay be shared with: service providers who support Site operations (hosting,analytics, email infrastructure) under confidentiality obligations; legal orregulatory authorities where required by law.
Anythird-party service provider engaged by nicelium™ is bound by data processing terms consistent with GDPR requirements.
6. Data retention.
Contact and inquiry data is retained for as long as the business relationship is active or potential, and for a maximum of three years from last contact unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Analytics data is retained in aggregated or anonymized form.
7. International transfers.
SCAI FOR GOOD SRL operates within the European Economic Area. Where data is processed by third-party tools with infrastructure outside the EEA, nicelium™ ensures appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
8. Your rights.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to: access the personal data held about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request erasure of your data; object to or restrict processing; request portability of your data; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

nicelium™ will respond within 30 days of receipt of a verified request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority forPersonal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), at www.dataprotection.ro.
9. Cookies.
The Site uses a limited set of cookies for analytics purposes. A cookie notice is displayed on first visit. Non-essential cookies are not placed without your consent.
10. Security.
SCAI FOR GOOD SRL applies technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the data processed. nicelium™ will notify affected parties and relevant authorities in the event of a personal data breach, as required by applicable law.
11. Changes to this Policy.
nicelium™may update this Policy to reflect changes in legal requirements or Site operations. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
