Smart sorting bins for public buildings.

No. The bin has a single slot. No instruction, no signage, no training required. The AI sorts internally. This makes the system effective in high-traffic public environments regardless of user awareness.

The nicelium™ dashboard provides real-time fill levels, device status, and fraction-level weight data per unit and per site. Data exports support EU Waste Framework Directive reporting, municipal ESG reports, and EU co-funded project documentation. API access available for integration with city management systems.

Yes. Multiple units deploy across all municipal buildings, with data aggregating centrally. The dashboard maintains individual unit and site visibility while generating portfolio-level reporting.

City halls, public libraries, cultural centers, sports facilities, indoor markets, transport hubs, municipal schools, and healthcare centers. Any indoor, high-traffic municipal building generating mixed daily waste is a suitable deployment environment.

The EU Waste Framework Directive mandates member states reach 55% recycling by 2025 and 65% by 2035. Municipalities contribute to these national targets through their own facilities and waste management frameworks. Weight-based measurement is increasingly required for compliance reporting.

nicelium™ is in its pilot phase. Pilot projects are open in Romania and in selected EU locations.
